Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose and Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the conduct of all Users who access or use the Platform at https://kozoon.com for AI Services. This AUP forms part of the Terms of Use and must be read in conjunction with them.

Users may use the Platform solely for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

2. Permitted Use

You may use the Platform and AI Services for legitimate purposes, including:

  • generating content or outputs using the AI Services within your allocated usage limits;
  • conducting research, analysis, or creative work;
  • managing your account and accessing features made available on the Platform.

All use must comply with applicable law and this AUP.

3. Prohibited Use

3.1. Illegal or Harmful Conduct

You must not use the Platform or AI Services in any way that:

  • violates any applicable law or regulation;
  • involves fraud, deception, impersonation, or misrepresentation;
  • facilitates money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, or other financial crime;
  • promotes or enables harm, abuse, or exploitation of individuals or groups.

3.2. Platform Security and Integrity

You must not:

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform, systems, or data;
  • introduce malware, viruses, or malicious code;
  • disrupt or degrade the performance of the Platform (including DDoS attacks);
  • bypass or interfere with security, authentication, or access controls;
  • use bots, scripts, or automated tools to extract data or abuse the Platform without authorisation

3.3. AI Misuse and Restricted Inputs

You must not use the AI Services to create, request, or process content that:

  • is unlawful, harmful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or discriminatory;
  • infringes the copyright, trade mark, privacy, or any other right of any third party;
  • is designed to generate content in violation of applicable law, including, without limitation, content related to child sexual abuse, terrorism, or organised crime;
  • is intended to circumvent safety guardrails, ethical constraints, or output filters built into the AI Services;
  • constitutes an attempt to extract proprietary system prompts, model weights, or confidential configuration parameters.

3.4. Prohibited AI Use Cases

You must not use the AI Services:

to create deepfakes or synthetic content intended to mislead, impersonate, or deceive;

for surveillance, profiling, or tracking individuals without a lawful basis;

in high-risk or safety-critical contexts (including medical, legal, financial, or emergency decision-making);

to produce or distribute disinformation or manipulative content at scale;

as a substitute for professional advice where such reliance could cause harm.

3.5. Resale and Commercial Exploitation

You must not use the AI Services for:

  • Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing Digital Products or AI Service access to third parties without the express written consent of the Company and the applicable rights holder.
  • Purchasing Digital Products in bulk for resale purposes through grey-market or unauthorised channels.

3.6. Interference with Other Users

You must not use the AI Services for:

  • Engaging in any conduct that interferes with the ability of other Users to access or use the Platform.
  • Posting, transmitting, or facilitating spam, unsolicited communications, or phishing attempts through the Platform.

4. Content Standards for AI-Generated Outputs

You are solely responsible for how you use any Output generated by the AI Services. The Company does not review AI outputs in real time. You must not use AI-generated outputs:

  • to produce disinformation, deepfakes, or fraudulent content intended to deceive or harm;
  • as a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, psychological, or safety-critical advice;
  • in any context that could endanger the health, safety, or welfare of any person;
  • to infringe intellectual property rights or to reproduce copyrighted works without authorisation.

5. Monitoring and Enforcement

The Company reserves the right, but is not obligated, to monitor Platform activity for the purpose of detecting and preventing violations of this AUP. The Company may, at its sole and absolute discretion, and without prior notice:

  • suspend or permanently terminate a User's account;
  • remove or disable access to content that violates this AUP;
  • report suspected unlawful activity to the relevant law enforcement or regulatory authorities;
  • take any other action the Company deems necessary to protect the Platform, its Users, and the public.

You acknowledge that repeated or severe violations of this AUP will result in permanent account termination. The Company will cooperate fully with competent authorities in any investigation arising from a User's use of the Platform.

6. Enforcement Consequences

The following non-exhaustive framework describes the range of enforcement actions the Company may take in response to violations of this AUP, in ascending order of severity:

  • Written warning: issued for first-time or minor violations that do not cause material harm.
  • Temporary suspension: applied where a violation requires investigation or poses an ongoing risk, pending resolution.
  • Content removal: applied where specific User-submitted content violates this AUP independently of the account status.
  • Permanent account termination: applied for serious, repeated, or wilful violations, including fraud, illegal activity, and security attacks.
  • Legal action: the Company reserves the right to pursue civil or criminal remedies against Users whose conduct causes material harm to the Company, other Users, or third parties.

The appropriate enforcement action will be determined at the Company's sole discretion, taking into account the severity, repetition, and intent of the violation.

7. Appeals

A User whose account has been suspended or terminated may submit a written appeal to [email protected] within fourteen (14) days of receiving notice of the enforcement action, setting out the grounds for the appeal. The Company will review the appeal and provide a written decision within twenty (20) business days. The Company's decision on appeal is final. During the appeal period, the suspension or termination remains in effect unless the Company determines in its discretion that circumstances warrant a temporary reinstatement pending review.

8. Reporting Violations

Users who become aware of any activity on the Platform that may constitute a violation of this AUP are encouraged to report it promptly to the Company at [email protected]. Reports will be treated confidentially to the extent permitted by law.

9. Vulnerability Disclosure

If you identify a security issue or vulnerability, please report it to [email protected] with sufficient detail to allow investigation.

We ask that vulnerabilities are not publicly disclosed until we have had a reasonable opportunity to assess and address the issue.

10. Amendments

We may update this AUP from time to time to reflect changes in applicable law, evolving threats, or operational requirements. Material changes will be published on the Platform with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Platform following publication constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
